Nestled in the hillside overlooking the Wisconsin River, Wollersheim Winery is a historic winery with vineyards and a beautiful limestone winery building.
Enjoy nationally recognized award-winning wines and Wisconsin cheeses. Winery tours daily (10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, and 4:15). Wine tastings anytime. Open year-round from 10-5. Wine garden provides vineyard views spring through fall. Located across the Wisconsin River from Prairie du Sac between US 12 and 60, just 25 miles northeast of Madison.

10.3.2013: Ice Wine Release
Celebrate the release of Wollersheim Winery Ice Wine 2012! Enjoy a taste of this “Nectar of the Vines” along with a few other Wollersheim wines, plus take a self-guided Ice Wine tour with visit to the vineyard where the Ice Wine grapes hang until they freeze hard as marbles. A cheesecake plate and all Wollersheim wines by the glass will be available to purchase. Live harp music will enhance this tasting experience. The Winery Store will be open extended hours until 6:00 pm. (No admission fee. Open to the public.)
11.21.2013: Ruby Nouveau Release Day
In addition to our Saturday, November 23rd's festivities, join us Thursday, November 21 at 11:00 am as Winemaker Philippe taps the Ruby Nouveau 2013 barrel. This 11:00 am toast will be celebrated with Wisconsin cheese & sausage.
Our Ruby Nouveau is Wisconsin’s version of a Beaujolais Nouveau, traditionally released the third Thursday in November. Our Ruby Nouveau is made from our estate-grown Foch grapes and Winemaker Philippe follows the traditional methods of whole berry fermentation.

11.23.2013: Ruby Nouveau Tasting
Taste the first release of the new vintage, Wollersheim Ruby Nouveau 2013 wine and other Wollersheim wines paired with an array of specialty Wisconsin cheeses. Visit with a cheese expert and listen to live music while enjoying a glass of wine. Ruby Nouveau is an estate-grown dry red with enticing fruity flavors and a zesty finish. It is the perfect holiday wine as it is meant to be enjoyed young and pairs well with holiday foods. (No admission fee. Open to the public.)

Experience old world charm as you prepare for Christmas. Taste Wollersheim wines paired with festive foods, find unique gifts, plus Christmas carolers will be on hand to set the mood. The winery is a picturesque place to take your family Christmas card photo, so be sure to bring your camera. Come and enjoy! (No admission fee. Open to the public.)
